Week 2 Fantasy Busts Joshua Kelley Zay Flowers Justice Hill among potential sits in uncertain situations

We all enter the fantasy football season hoping for a championship run, but sadly, some players dash those dreams. Avoiding players destined for fantasy disappointment is quite the challenge, but we're working hard to identify them before they shatter your chances of earning a "W" this week. Our Week 2 fantasy busts list aims to steer you in the right direction and avoid potential landmines like Joshua Kelley, Zay Flowers, Justice Hill, Anthony Richarson, and Kyle Pitts.Of course, even "must-starts" can have off-days (ahem, Joe Burrow), but you won't see those types of players among our bust picks Levi Onwuzurike Jersey unle s we legitimately advise benching them. We're targeting players on the start-sit bubble -- not obvious starters and not players owned in just a small handful of leagues. You might not have enough depth to bench the players below -- or you might just completely disagree with our picks -- but either way, it's your team, so make the decisions that work best for you.We had some hits and mi ses with our Week 1 picks, correctly predicting dud efforts from Daniel Jones, Kenny Pickett, Gabriel Davis, Chig Okonkwo, and Jamaal Williams. We did, however, mi s the mark on a few players, including Brandon Aiyuk. It's all part of thestrenuous game we play, but now that we have our first data point to work off of, we've raised our expectations for Week 2.WEEK 2 FANTASY: | Stay clear of these potential duds before locking in your lineup for Week 2.MORE: Justice Hill, Ravens @ Bengals (Nick Musial). Hill was fortunate to finish as a top-20 RB in PPR formats last week, as 12 of his 12.9 points came from two TD rushes. He was inefficient on the ground (eight carries, nine yards) and will likely take a backseat to fellow RB Gus Charlie Sanders Jersey Edwards this week. Don't expect a double-digit fantasy point showing from him despite JK Dobbins' injury paving the way for an increased workload.Khalil Herbert, Bears at Buccaneers (Vinnie Iyer). The Bucs are still hard to run against, and the Bears are still stuck on using a committee where rookie Roschon Johnson might be their best option because of his needed pa s protection for Justin Fields. With the potential of another negative game script, Herberts usage is bound to be fickle.Joshua Kelley, Chargers @ Titans (Matt Lutovsky).Kelley will seem like a must-start if Austin Ekeler (ankle) is out, but that was the case for Jamaal Williams in Week 1 when he finished with just 45 yards on 18 carries against Tenne see. Kelley is a similar back and doesnt figure to help much in the receiving game. Be careful, especially if Ekeler is active.WEEK 2 STANDARD RANKINGS: | | | | | Deshaun Watson, Browns @ Steelers (Musial). We don't expect Watson to finish as a top-five QB like he did in Week 1 considering how inefficient he was through the air. His 21.7-point showing did not accurately reflect his performance against Cincinnati, as his overall line was boosted by a 13-yard rushing TD and a succe sful two-point conversion. Poor weather and all, Watson still didn't look great as a pa ser, posting the fifth-worst completion percentage above expectation,. Look for the Steelers' defense to limit his effectivene s on Monday night.Anthony Richardson, Colts at Texans (Iyer). The rookie is making his first start on the road, and the Texans pa s defense is better than you think. It just contained Lamar Jackson as a dual threat, and DeMeco Ryans will scheme up some things that make it rough on Richardson to find numbers opposite C.J. Stroud.Dak Prescott, Cowboys vs. Jets (Lutovsky).Prescott didnt need to do much on Sunday night, but he wasnt particularly sharp, completing just 13-of-24 pa ses for 143 yards. We dont expect much against the other New Yorks much better defense.WEEK 2 PPR RANKINGS: | | | | | Skyy Moore, Chiefs @ Jaguars (Musial). Although Moore led all Chiefs WRs in snaps last week Barry Sanders Jersey (45), he failed to catch any of his three targets, which helps explain why his pa ser rating when targeted was a lackluster 39.6. He's sure to post a better fantasy output after a 0.4-point effort in Week 1, but that's not saying much.Terry McLaurin, Commanders at Broncos (Iyer). Its a little concerning that he received just four targets, catching two for 31 yards in Week 1. Now theres a good chance he gets the Pat Surtain curtain coverage in Week 2 that just held the superior Davante Adams in check.Zay Flowers, Ravens @ Bengals (Lutovsky).Flowers was everywhere for Penei Sewell Jersey the Ravens last week, totaling 11 touches and 87 total yards. Theres a lot of reason to be excited about the talented rookie, but weve seen targets fluctuate wildly for young pa s-catchers early in their careers before. Moreover, if Mark Andrews (quad) returns, there will be fewer targets to go around in general. Tread lightly outside of deep leagues.Hayden Hurst, Panthers vs. Saints(Musial).Hurst finished as the overall TE2 last week, but considering he played on just 53 percent of the Panthers' offensive snaps (41-of-77), his production is unsustainable. Fellow TEs Ian Thomas and Tommy Tremble also have roles within Frank Reich's offense, lowering Hursts' ceiling. It also doesn't help that Carolina faces a Saints defense that held Chig Okonkwo to zero catches on two targets last week either.Kyle Pitts, Falcons vs. Packers (Iyer). Arthur Smith is hiding his pa sing game behind his facial hair, knowing that Desmond Ridder may not be that good. He wants to run an offense from the turn of the century despite having pa s-catching athletes such as Pitts and Drake London. Green Bay is also smooth in coverage vs. the position.Tyler Higbee, Rams vs. 49ers (Lutovsky).Higbee disappointed with just three catches (three targets) for 49 yards in what looked like a favorable matchup last week. This week, he faces a 49ers defense that held Pat Freiermuth to just one catch and three yards. No thanks.New England Patriots vs. Dolphins (Musial). The Patriots' defense was ready for Jalen Hurts and the Eagles, but can they slow down the Dolphins' potent aerial attack? In Tua's lone game against New England last season, he threw for 272 yards and a TD in a 20-7 win with a 104.4 pa ser rating. The Patriots have plenty of tape and game reps to potentially limit his effectivene s, but we recommend leaving the Patriots D/ST on your bench.Indianapolis Colts at Texans (Iyer). Its a bit of a trap because you might chase their defensive TD vs. the Jaguars and see potential vs. C.J. Stroud, but its much smarter to play the other side of this game instead of a still-bad Colts defense on the road.Baltimore Ravens @ Bengals (Lutovsky).Baltimore looked great and Cincinnati looked awful last week, so most will consider the Ravens a must-start. Not so fast. Cincinnati still has as much Da'Shawn Hand Jersey offensive talent as any team in the league, so were expecting a big bounce-back performance at home.
