A few years ago bitcoin wallets and exchanges were not allowed to list their apps in the iTunes App Store. What a difference a couple of years makes as Apple have now integrated the Circle.com bitcoin wallet into iMessage for iPhone. If you have a Circle account you can now send bitcoin, dollars, sterling or euros in the same way as you send a text message. This service is free and instant.

Circle have quickly become one of the most popular wallets for bitcoin gamblers because it allows you to quickly and cheaply transfer your BTC to your bank account. While it seems unlikely that bitcoin sportsbooks and poker rooms will be allowed use this feature, it is a huge leap forward in the adoption process for crypto-currencies.

I'm not a huge fan of bitcoin wallets that require KYC and AML but I agree that being able to send crypo-currencies as easily as you would send an emoji has to be a positive development for the ecosystem.
